Your training regime sounds fine and the tightness in your muscles is NOT a bad thing. Tissue, during its recover phase, will tighten and begin to slowly relax as healing progresses. If you are not taking supplements, you should! Period. They "supplement" what 98% of us don't get daily, especially those of us who train.

AT THE VERY LEAST take a recovery product to help flush lactic acid from the muscles, and saturate your tissue with glutamine, creatine, and arginine. The absolute BEST product (right now anyway lol) is Reload by Brawl Nutrition. Whether you are training to fight (like me) or not, this stuff is blended perfectly for athletic bodies...notice I did not say bodybuilder!! They put so much stuff in their bodies they crap 80% of it out and waste their money.

Anyway, good luck!

Has this been a consistent thing or was it just after one workout? IF it has been consistent then-------
Look back at your log and see what your workouts have been. 2 hours is pretty long. If you have been doing that consistently you should look at that.
Have you been sleeping? What exercises have you been doing? Have your meals fallen off? How long how you been training with out a recovery week? LOts of obvious stuff to look at first. Its not just what you do in the gym its also what you are doing away from the gym.

OK dude .
maybe it's just your game plan. like your reps how do you do them ? do you do them real slow ? if not well that's your problem (hey your training there's no rush) and another thing if you can finish your reps then put more weight on them.
example: let's say your curling 150pounds and your reps are 12-12-12 well if you can do them all then curl 160 or 170 until your reps look like this 12-11-10 knowing your aiming for 12-12-12 and once you get there ......well step up
hope this helps and check your diet
oh yeah.....DON'T USE STEROIDS
STEROIDS ARE FOR QUITTERS!!!!!!!!
and yes eat after workouts but you should have a little something before and take whey powder right after your workout that helps a lot

It CAN happen if you overtrain......but it doesn't sound like the case here.
If your water intake was lower that day you may have lost some "mass" since muscle tissue is largely water.
